MAIN CHARACTERISTICS AND LAYOUT OF THE TERMINAL

  • The container terminal is a universal cargo complex, ready with good equipments and railway connections.
  • The terminal area is 260.000 m2, originally biggest in the region. Terminal capacity is 650000 teus yearly.

TERMINAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

In order to increase the capacity of the Container Terminal, it is proposed to modernize the berth front at berths No 5-6. Extension of the existing crane track and construction of a new crane track to be installed with modern handling equipment, which will increase the capacity of the terminal by 150.000 teus.

  • Fast and easy information exchange between all participants of the transport process and the authorities.

BERTHS

  • Berthing design allow us fast operation and quick dispatch of containers.
  • We can operate 335m length vessel in berth no 5 and 6 with draft 10.8m.

CONTAINER TERMINAL STORAGE AREAS

  • Storage No 15 located in the rear of berths No 3-4 and No 5-6.
  • The storage area and the weighing zone of containers in rear of berths No 3-4 (area ≈ 80500 sq. m).
  • The storage area in the rear of berths No 5-6 (area ≈ 51,000 sq. m).
  • Customs inspection zone (for 20 place) and zone of the scanning of containers.

STORAGE AREAS

  • Warehouse №12 with the cargo platforms 12/1, 12/2, 12/3 - geographically distant from the berthing line.
  • Storage No 12/1, total area of ≈ 70500 sq. m., consists of storage area of containers and two reefer trestles to connect refrigerated containers to the electrical supply to the 196 and 416 sockets. There re cargo fronts for the processing of rail wagons in two ways No 85 - 86, capacity of 20 of wagons each, located on the territory of the storage No 12/1.

  • Cargo platform 12/3 (area ≈ 11000 sq. m.)

  • The ship-to-shore gantry cranes, lifting capacity 5 Units / 34-45 t.
    units /1x34 t + 2x35 t + 2x45 t.
  • Rail (wheel)-gantry cranes lifting capacity 5 Units / 40,6 t.
  • RTG 5 Units / 35-40 t.

CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENT

  • Loader for the empty containers “Fantuzzi” 1 Unit/ 8 t and “Kalmar” 1 Unit / 10 t.
  • Loader “Kalmar” 1 Unit / 42 t.
  • Trucks – 9 units.
  • Trucks semi-trailers ( of the semitrailers – 45-50 t) – 14 units.
  • Forklifts 7 units / 1,5-2 t and 1 unit / 2.7 tons.
  • Bucket loader 1 Unit / 3,2 t.
  • Loader (“Bobcat”) 2 units and 1 unit / 3.2 tons.
